Vorarlberg responds to the search for unforgettable winter incentives with guaranteed snowfall and 40 ski areas where it is possible to experience so much with colleagues. We have put together a few activities here that will bond teams and are guaranteed to provide fun anecdotes and turn the time spent together into a grand success.
Lech Zürs – Vorarlberg’s most famous and perhaps most international winter region – is located right within the ski area and, with 305 kilometres of slopes, there’s a good chance you will be able to book your ski-in ski-out accommodation right next to the pistes. The cradle of alpine skiing draws visitors from across the globe, which is something that motivates the region to be a leader in quality tourism. The four- and five-star hotels are all about relaxation and enjoyment in beautiful interior settings, while the outside provides the experience.
Shared experiences don't necessarily develop at a desk. So how about some heli-skiing for a change? Or a trip along the White Ring, Arlberg’s most legendary ski route? Those who are less inclined to strap on their skis but who do enjoy hiking or acquainting themselves with new foods should take a look at the Skyspace Lech light-space spectacle, discover winter hiking for themselves or celebrate life in a cultured style at the World Gourmet Village.
The Montafon skiing and hiking area stands out for its rich and varied offerings in both summer and winter. It has even launched a world first in 2021: the Valiser lift, a semi-autonomously operated 10-seater gondola lift by Doppelmayr, Vorarlberg’s own manufacturer of cable cars. That is just one highlight. But there are several more.
The Montafon region offers the perfect balance between action, entertainment and enjoyment for winter incentives. A wine tasting at the Vinnova, the highest wine tavern in Vorarlberg, is a good idea where enjoyment is concerned. Moreover, among the sporting activities, one definitely stands out: the longest night toboggan run in Vorarlberg. Such activities reinforce team spirit and a stop off for some refreshments is the perfect way to bring the fun to a conclusion.
And, because the Montafon region is full of superlatives, it also offers the opportunity to drive a 490-horsepower Pistenbully (piste basher). And those who manage to get up before dawn may awaken the team spirit early in the morning and hire the Hochjoch Totale exclusively for a sunrise ride. The Hochjoch Totale is the longest downhill run in Vorarlberg and it can be wonderfully combined with a mountain breakfast in the Kapellrestaurant.
In ganz Vorarlberg gibt es abseits von Büro- und Meetingräumen außergewöhnliche Events und Orte, die das Teamgefühl stärken. Nichts für schwache Nerven ist die Fahrt mit dem Vutschko-Gästebob im Eiskanal in Bludenz. Mit bis zu 100 km/h erleben die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer wie den Profi-Sportlern zu Mute ist. Und für alle, die gerne was Neues ausprobieren wollen, wartet ein abenteuerliches Snow-Bike-Erlebnis im Kleinwalsertal.
Across Vorarlberg, away from offices and meeting rooms, there are extraordinary events and places that will strengthen team spirit. For example, a sleigh ride with huskies in the Brandnertal valley or llama trekking with fleecy companions can be great fun. For those who are more competitive, the Montafon region also offers ski-jump and biathlon challenges and GPS scavenger hunts. While a trip on the Vutschko guest bobsleigh in Bludenz’s ice run is not for the faint-hearted. Participants are able to experience what professional athletes feel at speeds of up to 100 kph. While an adventurous snow-bike experience in Kleinwalsertal awaits those who are always up for something new.
