Business Meeting Fonds Vorarlberg 2026
Cooperation model for the co-creative design of events with a lasting, sustainable impact.

As a Convention Bureau, it is a key priority for us to design business meetings that create added value for participants, organizers, and the living and economic environment of Vorarlberg. With the Business Meeting Fonds Vorarlberg, we focus on collaborative partnerships with organizers who align their formats sustainably – in terms of ecological, social, and economic values – thereby making a positive contribution to all stakeholders and to the region.
Together, we develop vibrant event formats where knowledge is shared, innovation is stimulated, and sustainable development is actively advanced.
Extent of the cooperation
The extent of the cooperation is based on verifiable measures in the areas of regional impact, sustainability, and event design.
A transparent evaluation framework serves as guidance. A total of up to 20 points can be achieved, resulting in a maximum cooperation contribution of €3,000. A prerequisite is that at least one point is achieved in each impact dimension.
What is supported?
Supported are business meetings taking place between 01.01.2026 - 31.12.2026 that:
- last at least four hours,
- take place in a venue in Vorarlberg, and
- have at least 60 on-site participants.
Business meetings are one- to multi-day gatherings (e.g., scientific conferences, professional symposia, workshops, retreats) primarily involving participants from outside the region, focused on professional knowledge exchange, the dissemination of current expertise, and the maintenance of business contacts. This also includes corporate meetings, seminars (training and professional development for a specialist audience), and hybrid events (combination of live and online participation).
Excluded from the cooperation are:
- Exhibitions and trade fairs (even if targeting a professional audience)
- Cultural and sports events
- Events without a professional agenda (receptions, award ceremonies, Christmas parties, galas, etc.)

- Internal professional or association meetings (e.g., guild meetings)
