Bodensee-Vorarlberg Tourismus GmbH is committed to making its website www.convention.cc and meetinvorarlberg.cc accessible in accordance with the Austrian Federal Act on Accessibility of Products and Services (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz – BaFG) and Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
Accessibility Statement
of the websites www.convention.cc & meetinvorarlberg.cc

Compliance Status
This website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of ÖNORM EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03), as some content and functions are not yet fully accessible.
The TOSC5 website widget is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the "Web Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V 3.2.1 (2021-03) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible Content
The following content and functions are not yet fully accessible for the following reasons:
- Some form elements, links, and buttons are either not sufficiently labeled or are empty, making them difficult to use with assistive technologies.
- There are images without alternative text and linked graphics that are not accessible to screen readers.
- There are issues with color contrast in some areas, which may make reading difficult for users with visual impairments.
- Some interactive elements are not fully operable via keyboard or contain incorrect ARIA attributes.
- Some PDF documents provided on the website have not yet been tested for accessibility and may therefore not be fully accessible. Widgets (TOSC5) lack proper formatting.
- Widgets (TOSC5)
- C.9.1.1.1 – For some non-text content presented to users, there is no equivalent text alternative that serves the same purpose.
- C.9.1.3.1 – In some cases, information, structure, or relationships conveyed through the presentation of pages cannot be programmatically determined (or are not available via text).
- C.9.1.3.2 – In some instances where the order in which content is presented affects its meaning, this order is only visual and not structural.
- C.9.1.4.3 – The visual presentation of text and images containing text does not always meet the required minimum contrast ratio, except for the exemptions provided in the regulations (e.g., logos).
- C.9.1.4.10 – Content that does not require a two-dimensional layout (such as data tables or maps) is not reflowed when resized.
- C.9.2.1.1 – Some features cannot be operated through a keyboard (or an equivalent input interface).
- C.9.2.2.2 – Some animations, blinking, scrolling, or auto-updating information are automatically started, last longer than five seconds, or are presented simultaneously with other content, and there are no mechanisms to stop or hide them.
- C.9.2.4.3 – On some web pages that can be navigated sequentially and where navigation order affects meaning and functionality, some focusable objects do not receive focus in an order that preserves their meaning and operability.
- C.9.2.4.6 – Headings and/or labels do not sufficiently describe the content or functionality.
- C.9.3.3.2 – In some cases, no labels or instructions are provided when user input is required.
- C.9.4.1.2 – In some instances, user interface components (including form elements, links, and script-generated components...) do not have their name, role, status, properties, and values correctly set or updated, or assistive technologies and users are not notified of changes.
- C.9.4.1.3 – In some cases, status messages are not presented to users in a way that assistive technologies can interpret them without shifting focus.
- Implementing the PDFs contained in the TOSC5 website widget in an accessible manner and creating the accessibility statement in plain language currently represents a disproportionate burden. They are therefore an exception.
We are continuously working to identify and gradually remove these barriers in order to improve the accessibility of our website for all users.
