Sustainable mobility for event guests

Since May 2025, overnight guests in the Bodensee-Vorarlberg region benefit from a special service: As an overnight guest in an accommodation provider in a participating municipality, a ticket for all public transport throughout Vorarlberg is included from the very first night.

This makes it easy to travel comfortably and sustainably to any event location and discover the region between meetings and conferences. Arrival and departure by bus and train are also easy and convenient: thanks to the pre-check-in option, participants can receive their guest card digitally before even leaving their home.

The guest card is valid throughout Vorarlberg — including cross-border train stations in Tyrol (St. Anton), Germany (Lindau) and Switzerland (Buchs, St. Margrethen).

The municipalities participating in the guest card project offer a diverse range of conference and event venues — from modern event halls in urban settings to nature-based meeting spaces in the mountains. Whether planning a conference, meeting or workshop: one is sure to find the perfect setting in Vorarlberg. And the best part: with the guest card, guests staying in participating municipalities can travel comfortably and free of charge by bus and train to all event locations. Here are a few tips:

• In Dornbirn, Vorarlberg’s largest city, two of the region’s major event venues can be found — Messequartier Dornbirn and Kulturhaus Dornbirn — along with a wide selection of seminar hotels offering ideal facilities for business and conference guests.
