If in doubt, the viability of a team can be ultimately tested by means of the communal building of a boat on the water. Combining skill and teamwork, the floating boards can either advance into a successful project – or the whole team comes a cropper. Directed by experienced guides, the participants not only learn a lot of interesting facts about boat building, physics and leverage, but also a great deal about their own ability to work in a team and that of their colleagues. Once the team spirit and the dragon have been awakened, the helmsmen give a brief introduction to the technique of paddling. In time to the beat of the drum, the rowers then find a mutual harmony and enjoy the charming natural landscape and waterscape. Or it turns into a race, and even the most ambitious athletes get to prove their sense of humour and solidarity.
