The soul of a bygone era has been revived to its former glory in the MS Oesterreich. As stylish as ever and as graceful as it was on its maiden voyage – it would be hard to imagine Lake Constance without it.
Although it only narrowly escaped being scrapped many years ago, it has been turned into one of the most impressive event locations around and on Lake Constance thanks to the many helping hands that contributed to its elaborate restoration. The MS Oesterreich initiated the era of motor ships on the ‘Swabian Sea’ in 1928, today it’s the only Art Deco ship in the world to turn all kinds of events into unique experiences. The bar on the upper deck along with the dinner, dance and ladies’ salon meet all the demands that could be made on a special event location. The elegant MS Oesterreich has been affectionately called a ‘Luxury Liner’ since its maiden voyage and still entirely lives up to that epithet.
