Kongresskultur Bregenz voted one of the best congress centres in the world
The International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) – has honoured Kongresskultur Bregenz as one of the three best congress centres in the world for the third time. The Festspielhaus Bregenz has already been named one of the top venues back in 2004 and again in 2010. The APEX Award, which is presented by the Association every two years, is based on customer survey. Twenty-one congress centres had applied for the award this year. The award was presented in Nantes, France, on the occasion of the AIPC annual conference.
Kongresskultur Bregenz is sharing second prize of this year’s APEX Award with the Congress Centre in Hawaii. This year´s winner was the centre in Brisbane, Australia. The applicants for the Award included the congress centre in Melbourne, Durban and Montréal as well as Salzburg Congress and the Congress Centre Düsseldorf.
Satisfied customers, excellent team
Over 30 customers per congress centre were questioned by the AIPC for this award. The criteria included the technical equipment, organisational services, project management, catering and supporting programme offers. Gerhard Stübe of Kongresskultur said:
“The award is of particular importance to us, since it is based on customer evaluation and confirms the excellent work of my team at Kongresskultur. The satisfaction of our customers and the level of enjoyment from our team is the standard by which we measure ourselves.”
175 AIPC Members
AIPC currently has 175 members in 57 different countries. The association has been presenting the “Best Congress Centre of the world” award – based on customers’ evaluations – since 2000. The customer survey is performed by the renowned market research institute Ipsos.
